Cupcakes, donuts, burgers and beverages, but most importantly, the ability to FRY AND EAT EGGS

When I started making this mod, Minecraft had a really scarce selection of foods. While the addition of new crops (XercaMod had potato before vanilla did!) and recipes expanded the menu, it is still not enough for some of us. XercaMod adds a lot of fast food and sweets to the game, in an aim to lower the average life expectancy in Minecraft.

Food items in containers such as bowls can be stacked, as opposed to vanilla examples. Because there is nothing more annoying than an unstackable food item.

Apple Pie and Sweet Berry Pie can be placed as a block in a similar manner to cake. Why the vanilla pumpkin pie doesn’t work this way, I don’t know.

One special mention goes to throwable tomatoes. Finally you can judge performances and vandalize people with the satisfying splash of a ripe tomato.

Be careful, as tomatoes do a little bit of damage unlike snowballs. This is mostly due to the psychological harm.

Rice

This mod has three crops as of now: Tomato, tea and rice. Unlike the first two, rice has a special requirement in order to be planted. The tilled dirt block that you want to plant rice on needs to be hydrated and have at least two adjacent water blocks. You can also use waterlogged blocks instead of water blocks.

Doner

A setup for cooking Doner. I suggest using a campfire for better safety.

As of version 1.15.2-2.5.7, you can make Doner Kebab and eat or use it in recipes. The instructions for a successful Doner is as follows:

Place down an iron bar on the ground.
Skewer 4 lamb pieces through the iron bar
Place a fire or campfire next to (in one of 4 directions) or one block downward from next to (again in 4 directions) the doner
Give it a redstone signal to make it rotate. It won’t cook unless it rotates!
After some time, the doner will cook and then you can slice it up with a knife.

Cheese

The process of making cheese.

You can make cheese to use in recipes or eat as is. The process of making cheese is as follows:

Craft a curdling vat as shown in the recipe below, using copper and iron ingots.
Pour milk into the vat.
Wait as the protein in the milk solidifies into cheese. It should take around 1 minute on average.
Right click on the vat to retrieve the cheese wheel, then place it on a surface.
You can eat the cheese in pieces directly from the wheel, or slice it using a knife.

Pizza

We have wheat, tomatoes, and now cheese. The logical conclusion to all of this is Pizza, of course. You can prepare a base pizza using these three ingredients, and then either bake it as is to get a margherita pizza, or add toppings of your choosing to create the pizza of your dreams. The ingredients you can use are sausage, mushroom, chicken, cod fish and doner. You can add up to three ingredients in total. There are 56 variations in total, so go ham with it.

Pizza is eaten in “circular” slices in a way similar to cheese.

Soda

After gulping down all the greasy foodstuff you can get your hands on, there is nothing like carbonated sugar water to wash down your throat. All of the fizzy drinks have a nice, fizzy animation.

You can use an empty glass on a bubbling soul sand to acquire sparkling water. From there, getting to a generic soda is a matter of adding sugar and a snowball to your drink.

Cola

Making cola is a little more involved, since it requires processing secret ingredients in a secret procedure:

Craft the secret cola formula powder using warped roots, rotten flesh, spider eye and three units of sugar.
Brew the powder into water bottles to get the extract.
Combine the extract and two snowballs with six glasses of sparkling water to get six glasses of cola.

Drinking cola gives you a Haste effect to reward your efforts.
